Di malam itu, didalem sebuah Gua Anatolia yg dijadikan kamar Hostel oleh wanita bernama Perihan ini, gue dan kenalan baru dari Argentina, Rodrigo sempet berbincang tentang persepsi kita yang terkadang menilai sebuah negara walaupun belum tentu kita pernah mengunjungi dan melihat langsung apa yg ada di negara tersebut.

“Iya juga ya, kita mikir negara A itu gini bla bla bla hanya karena melihat di berita tv atau internet, dan ujung-ujungnya menggeneralisir bahkan membuat stereotip tentang negara tersebut. Ain’t fair, man. Ain’t fair”

Dia cerita, kejadian pas dia di Cina. Dia bilang “Well, sebelum gue berangkat ke Cina, temen-temen gue sempet bilang “Cina itu mahal, dan hati-hati ditangkap komunis-komunis disana.”

2 minggu kemudian, sampailah dia di negeri Mao Zedong itu. Setelah 7 hari disana, dia blg “Damn man, seminggu di Beijing ternyata gue cuma ngabisin segini doang? screw y’all, I’ll stay even longer here hahaha.”

Dia ketawa, makin ketawa pas tau gue juga mengalami hal yang bisa dibilang sama persis. :D

Gue nimpalin, “Bahkan di negara gue banyak yg masih nganggap Turki ini negara Arab.” Dia bilang, “Seriously? No way..” Dan dia ketawa seakan ga percaya.

Believe it or not, dia akhirnya stay di Cina selama 3 tahun dan belajar Kung Fu. (Yes, freaking Kung Fu!) walaupun pas gue bilang “Jadi lo belajar some Jackie Chan moves dong?” Dia jawab sambil senyum “Kung Fu yang gue pelajarin bukan Kung Fu yang lo liat di film-film, ini lebih ke spiritual.” Terserahhh.. (gue ga terlalu niat nanya lebih lanjut)

Akhirnya karena udah lumayan malem, dan para room-mate hostel yang baru balik dari jalan malem mereka udah siap mau istirahat, kita menyudahi perbincangan agak random ini. Besok gue harus kejar mobil van yang bakalan ngebawa gue ke Lembah Ilhara.

Pengalaman pertama molor didalem Gua Anatolia pun dimulai.. Zzzzzzzz
